All area youth and families invited to join activities at First Lutheran
 

First Lutheran Church in Decorah will begin its Youth and Family programming the week of Sept. 7, and all area kids are welcome to participate.

Here are just a few of the great activities available:

·        Sunday School – Rally Sunday is Sunday, Sept. 7, and will kick off with a carnival at 9:40 a.m. filled with games, food and fun. Sunday School classes begin the following Sunday, Sept. 14 at 9:40 a.m. Programming is available for kids ages 4 through 12, and a staffed nursery is available for 0-3 year-olds so adults can participate.

·        Wednesday After School – Wednesday activities begin Sept. 10. Our goal is to give kids in Grades 1 through 9 a safe and welcoming place Wednesday afternoons. Activities start at 3:15 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. A meal is served from 5:20 to 6 p.m., and families are welcome.

·        Family Ministry – Fun activities are planned each month for families to enjoy together, such as concerts, hay rides, service opportunities and a ski trip.

·        Youth Programs – Grades 3 through Senior High are welcome to participate in a wide variety of programs for fellowship, learning and fun.

·        Choir – First Lutheran offers choirs for Grade 1 through adult. Come and sing!
