The Deans and Chaplains (clergy leadership) of the Northeastern Iowa Synod of the ELCA have written a letter commending and encouraging congregations in the work of distance-ministry. Click here to read this letter.
Faith leaders from across the state have written and signed onto a document titled, “Ecumenical Statement About Religious Gatherings.” Click here to read the statement.
First Lutheran Church will remain closed for in-person gatherings through May 31, as previously publicized. FLC staff and council will continue to monitor the situation and provide you further updates later in the month.
